HISTORY: Kodo millet is an ancient grain and is known as Varagu Arisi in Tamil, Arikelu Biyam in Telugu, Kodri/Kodra/Kodon in Hindi and Aarka Akki in Kannada.
Millets are known as Siridhanya/ Sridhanya/ Siridhanyalu/ Sirithenaigal/ Siridhanyagalu across different regions in India. They are forgotten grains and our effort is to bring them back to the mainstream for future food security and access to better nutrition.

No overnight soaking, no hassles, just mix water and curds to form idli batter instantly.
Step 1 - Add 1 measure of MIX to 1 measure of water and 1/2 measure of sour curd and mix well to form batter.
Step 2 - Keep aside for 5 minutes.
Step 3 - Steam the batter in idly vessel for 10-12 minutes. Serve hot.
